High school sweethearts on the road to “I do”
There’s something incredibly special about photographing couples who’ve grown together through the years—and that’s exactly the love story Alejandra & Jose share. These two met back in high school, and after years of laughs, growth, and memories, they’re now just a few months away from saying “I do” in July 2025.
We kicked off their engagement session early in the morning at Finca de Rustica in Naguabo, one of those hidden gems on the island that feels like stepping into a dream. The light was soft, golden, and dreamy—perfect for capturing the genuine connection Alejandra & Jose have. The farm was full of color and life, from blooming flowers to sweeping mountain views that stretched beyond the horizon.
We started our session strolling through fields dotted with wildflowers, and quickly found ourselves with an unexpected (but very photogenic!) guest—a curious cow who happily posed for a few photos with the couple. The moment felt straight out of a countryside fairytale.
One of my favorite moments of the morning was shooting in front of the sunflower field. The bold, golden blooms were the perfect backdrop for their joy and chemistry. Surrounded by sunshine and nature, the way Jose looked at Alejandra said everything—this is a love that’s stood the test of time.
We wrapped up the session by the rustic barn, with its warm wooden tones and cozy textures. It was the perfect setting for some relaxed, intimate shots as the sun climbed higher in the sky.
