FELIX JAVIER
DESTINATION WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER IN PUERTO RICO
About Felix Javier
Puerto Rico Wedding Photographer
Relaxed Documentary Storytelling with an Editorial Edge
I don’t approach weddings as a production.
I approach them as lived experiences — layered, emotional, and constantly unfolding.
My role is simple:
to observe with intention, guide when needed, and create space for everything real in between.
The result is photography that feels effortless, honest, and timelessly composed.
HOW I WORK
My work lives in the balance between two worlds:
Documentary at heart
I’m drawn to real moments — the unplanned, the imperfect, the emotional shifts no one can stage.
Editorial in execution
When portraits matter, I bring a calm direction that keeps things natural but intentional — never stiff, never forced.
This balance is what defines my style.
Not overly posed.
Not purely observational.
Just honest storytelling with a refined eye.
MY APPROACH ON YOUR WEDDING DAY
On your wedding day, I move with the rhythm of what’s happening — not against it.
You won’t feel constantly directed.
You won’t feel like you’re performing.
Instead, I focus on:
Anticipating real moments before they unfold
Guiding you gently when portraits are needed
Staying present without interrupting the energy of the day
Most of the time, you’ll forget the camera is even there.
That’s the goal.
BASED IN PUERTO RICO
I’m based in Puerto Rico, where I photograph weddings across San Juan, Old San Juan, Dorado, and destination celebrations across the island.
From historic architecture to coastal light, the island naturally supports the kind of imagery I’m drawn to — honest, cinematic, and timeless.
I also travel for destination weddings throughout the U.S. and beyond.
WHO I WORK BEST WITH
You’ll likely connect with my work if you value:
Real moments over performance
A calm, guided experience instead of rigid posing
Editorial imagery that still feels like you
A photographer who observes more than directs
If that sounds like you — we’ll probably work really well together.
CLOSING
My work is not about creating perfect moments.
It’s about recognizing the ones that already exist.
If that resonates with you, I’d love to hear your story.
